1)Ministry of AYUSH is organising the 3rd National Helath Editors Conference on Yoga at Morarji National Institute of Yoga in New Delhi. This meeting was iangurated by Minister of AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shripad Yesso Naik.The theme is Evidence Based Recent Innovative Research on Yoga – A Review of Yoga Research.
2)To prevent the death of newborns due to lack of emergency medical facilities Gujarat government launched dedicated ambulance service for Infants.
3)A two day conference of Governors and Lieutenant Governors will be held at Rashtrapathi Bhavan,New Delhi.President Ram Nath Kovind
will be heading this conference.
4)Telangana state Forest Development Corporation has launched two eco-tourism projects one in Chintaguda village of Mancherial district and other at Nagarjuna Sagar back waters.
5)An orchid located in Singapore Botanical Gardens was named after Narendra Modi.The orchid is named as Dendrobium Narendra Modi to mark his visit to Singapore.
6)Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a plaque to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at the immersion site of his ashes at the waterfront Clifford pier in Singapore.
7)To boost start-ups Maharastra government announced the opening up of a Sandbox where all the start-ups will be welcome who can register, open their APIs to boost fintech Innovation.
8)Gail India Limited will be importing the first ever LNG from Russia.India considered the fourth largest buyer of Liquefied Natural Gas.
9)India successfully test-fired its indigenously developed nuclear capable long range ballistic missile Agni-5 with a strike range of 5,000 km. The surface-to-surface missile was launched from Dr Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast.
10)Kagiso Rabada was named as the South Africa's Cricketer of the year.
11)India's Sanjana Ramesh from Bengaluru won Most Valuable Player Award at Basketball Without Borders Asia 2018 held in Greater Noida.
12)Priyanka Das from Assam has been appointed as ambassador of "Promote Science" initiative in France to encourage girls to pursue Scientific Carrers.
