1)In order to improve the travelling experience Ministry of Railways launched two mobile applications named "Rail MADAD" and "Menu on Rails" to improve the travelling experience.
Rail MADAD(Mobile Application for Desired Assistance During travel) app used to register complaints.Menu on Rails app will offer the facility to order food.
2)1st batch of three month-long Kailash Mansarovar Yatra-2018 in New Delhi.There are two routes one through Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand and other through Nathu La Pass in Sikkim.
