1)A report on Composite Water Management Index prepared by NITI Aayog was launched by Nitin Gadkari.Gujarat state topped in the report ,whereas Tripura adjudged as number 1 in North Eastern and Himalayan States.Composite Water Management Index is an important tool to assess and improve the performance of States/ Union Territories in efficient management of water resources.
