6)Odia Poet Sri Satrughna Pandav was honoured with Sarala Puraskar award for his poetry collection Misra Dhrupad.
7)Amitabh Chaudhry current MD of HDFC Standard Life was appointed as the New CEO and MD of Axis Bank.
8)India Blue won Duleep Trophy 2018-19 by defeating India Red who were the defending champions.
9)Naomi Osaka is the Japan’s first Grand Slam singles champion.She won US open by defeating Serena Williams.
